The Kevin Martin Corporation was started as a result of a
perceived need in the market place. A comprehensive video, DOGGIE CUTS
was produced to help people groom their dogs and to provide essential
nutrition information and health care.
The video is hosted by animal
enthusiast and show business veteran Dick Van Patten [Eight is Enough] and
has been embraced by the media and dog owners alike. It received a glowing
review in Dog Magazine and has been featured twice on QVC, in Dog Fancy
Magazine, The Daily Show on Comedy Central, and on numerous television news
broadcasts and radio talk shows, as well as in several newspaper articles.
Thousands of copies have been sold in the U.S. and abroad, and The Kevin
Martin Corporation is now expanding it's scope through this website to
embrace it's original goals, "to provide a full line of products and valuable
information to enhance your dog's life."
BEHIND THE SCENES: THE MAKING OF DOGGIECUTS
The President of The
Kevin Martin Corporation, Kevin M. DuVall, was concerned about the safety
and cost of having his dog, Coco, groomed. He found dog grooming
clippers by a number of manufacturers, but no comprehensive training
video or instructions on how to best groom a dog safely. He wondered
how others who truly cared about their pets were coping with this
seeming lack of information. Upon further research, he also noticed
the need for a clearinghouse for the number of products and sources of
information available. He believed that there needed to be one primary
source of information and products for the "hands on" dog owner.
DOGGIE CUTS was conceived and written by Mr. DuVall and filmed on
location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Los Angeles, California using
state-of-the-art video format and techniques. He assembled a group of
professionals both on-camera and behind the scenes to put together a video
that is inviting and pleasing to the eye, and also filled with much needed
information and grooming techniques."
